When you use AI Document Editor, we collect the account details you provide when signing in (such as your email and, for Google sign-in, your name and profile picture).

We store the documents you import or create, the copilot conversations you have about them, and the accepted revision history of each document.

We also collect basic device and log information — browser type, approximate location from your IP, and error diagnostics — to keep the service reliable and secure.

We use your documents and messages to operate the core product: reading a document's structure, letting the AI copilot propose tracked edits, and saving revisions so you can restore earlier versions.

We use account and log data to authenticate you, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

We do not use your documents or conversations to train any AI model — ours or a provider's.

To generate suggested edits, the relevant parts of your document and your instructions are sent to third-party AI providers that perform the inference.

Please do not submit highly sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, health records, or financial account numbers) in documents or chat, as this content is processed to produce responses.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share data only with the service providers that make the product work — hosting, database and storage, analytics, and AI inference providers — under agreements that limit their use of it.

We retain your documents, revisions, and messages for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and we delete or anonymize data when it is no longer required or upon a valid deletion request.
